We believe that learning a complex musical instrument provides innumerable benefits to a child: the joy and pride of doing well, discipline, coordination, communication, and immersion in the great classical music and string music culture.
Through our grants thus far, young people in more than 20 diverse communities are carrying these benefits into their other educational and life experiences.

Beautiful new instruments excite children with their ease of playing and exceptional tone, inspiring them to practice and reap these many benefits.
Our renowned and experienced mentors further the connection between children and their instruments and provide positive examples for them as they grow. |
" CFKF helped us to get great instruments into the hands of kids. And, the difference to the kids has been phenomenal!"- Community Music Works, Providence, Rhode Island | |
